0.9 Changelog
- Passive Skills
- The formula for Passive Skills has been changed from “8 + bonuses” to “10 + bonuses”.
- ADV and DisADV adds or subtracts 2 from your Passive Skill now, instead of 5.
- Combat Mastery has been changed to Combat Training
- You now always add your Combat Mastery to all Spell Checks you make. Spellcasting is not listed in Combat Training in any Class because of this change, since it’s not needed.
- Equipment System Changes
- Weapon and Armor Mastery has been renamed to Training. You no longer have “Mastery” in Weapons, Armor, or Shields, you have Training in those things.
- Being able to benefit from Weapon Styles is now a part of having Training in Weapons, and isn’t listed in Class Masteries.
- When you lack Training in Armor you’re wearing, your AP maximum is no longer reduced and you still add your CM to PD, but you have DisADV on all Attack Checks and Spell Checks.
- Whip Weapon Style only gives you bonus damage with Melee Attacks against creatures further than 1 Space, rather than with any Attack against a creature further than 1 Space.
- Talents
- Talents are no longer separated into Martial, Spellcaster, and General Talents. Now when you choose any Talent, you choose between advancing as a Martial or Spellcaster.

- This makes the Talent system much more streamlined and easy to understand.
